Finally!

Ok, So I've had the bike for about a month now and finally got my cyclometer hooked up to it. I went to the flattest street near my house and set about measuring my max speed. The first direction I managed to reach 23.6 mph, going back I managed 25.8 mph. Averaging the two values I get about 24.7 mph top speed on flats. Bear in mind that if I have a slight downhill I can reach speeds of 28-29 mph. Tire pressure was 60psi for this test and total weight of bike and rider is roughly 300 pounds.

I also found that my 3/4 throttle speed I use for max distance puts me at about 16 mph, right where cyclone says I should be.

I also bought a turnigy watt meter and power analyzer that I need to install to see how much juice I'm using on that massive hill I have to conquer. More on that after the install.

So for all you folks that were looking for actual speed numbers, I'd say expect an average of 26-27 mph if you go full throttle. Once the motor reaches the efficiency mark of 26 on a downhill it's pretty much able to sustain it on the flats.

P.S. The street I used was a little over a quarter mile long.
